Bainbridge police are investigating after four masked young males stole electrical breaker boxes worth an estimated $15,000 from Home Depot in the early morning on April 22.
Bainbridge Township Police Chief Jon Bokovitz said that the township’s detectives have found at least five other cases in neighboring states stemming from that group of males stealing breaker boxes.
“These four individuals did the same thing in Streetsboro at around 7 a.m.,” the chief said.
The theft was not discovered by store employees until May 4, when they reported it to police.
To commit the crime, the males wore hoodies, went down into electrical wire and out of store cameras’ view, and tore up security items, Chief Bokovitz said. Then, they filled up two carts with electrical breaker boxes totaling an estimated $15,000 and left the store.
Bainbridge police have not made any arrests.
