Hambden Fire Department responded 6:52 p.m. Jan. 15 to the intersection of Chardon-Windsor Road and Claridon Troy Road for a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident with minor injuries.
Two cars collided at the intersection, resulting in four people being injured and transported to UH Geauga Medical Center for treatment, Assistant Chief David Peterson said.
“They were relatively minor injuries,” Chief Peterson said. “Everyone may even be out of the hospital at this point.”
Six people were involved in the crash.
Chardon Fire Department and Burton Volunteer Fire Department assisted with transporting patients. Munson Fire Department Chief Mike Vatty coordinated incoming patients with UH Geauga.
Ohio State Highway Patrol investigated the accident, Chief Peterson said.
