Posted: Monday, December 9, 2013 10:30 am

CHAGRIN FALLS – The Chagrin Falls Historical Society has presented a century plaque to the home of John and Kim Tressler, 237 Bell St., which has the historical name “The Charles H. Ober House.”

The structure was built in 1884 by “probably Joseph O’Malley,” according to the historical society. Mr. O’Malley was a master carpenter and ship builder who built many other early Chagrin Falls homes.
