On Dec. 4, members of the Chagrin Falls Police Department will hold its annual “Shop with a Cop” program and are now collecting donations to fund the event dedicated to the happiness of local families in need.

Chagrin Falls police Lt. Jason Weiskopf said officers and volunteers will spend time helping local families shop for gifts, food and clothing in a COVID-19 safe environment.

This event is solely funded by donations and will be accepted until the day of the event.

Contributions in the form of cash or check may be delivered in person or by mail to the Chagrin Falls Police Department at 21 W. Washington St., Chagrin Falls 44022.

Checks should be made payable to the “John Murtaugh Benevolent Fund” and designated for “Shop with a Cop” in the note section.
