As of Nov. 16, all Cuyahoga County Public Library locations are requiring all staff and patrons over the age of 2 to wear a mask inside branch buildings at all times. Face shields, bandanas, gaiters and other improvised facial coverings will not be permitted, according to a recent newsletter. This new order is in response to the rising cases of COVID-19 across Ohio.

Library employees will provide a mask to anyone who does not have one. Until further notice, patrons are not permitted to consume food or drinks in the library branches. Patrons are encouraged to use the library’s virtual and contactless services, including curbside/drive-thru pick-up, telephone reference, call ahead printing and faxing, online readers advisory, eBooks and eAudiobooks and streaming movies and music. There are branches of the Cuyahoga County Public Library in Gates Mills, Chagrin Falls, Solon and Pepper Pike, which is known as the Orange branch.
