The Orange Inclusive Preschool and Moreland Hills Elementary School will be closed Nov. 12 for records day.

Sports awards night upcoming

The Orange High School fall sports awards night will take place Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. All of the fall sports programs will come together at 5:30 p.m. for special recognitions in the OHS auditorium, and at 6 p.m., each sport will break out for their individual portion of awards night throughout the school. If students or parents have any questions, please contact the fall sports coaches.

Pride Powers

This week’s Pride Powers recipients at Moreland Hills Elementary School are Maria Westcott’s kindergarten class, Angie Lovell’s second-grade class, Sue Hogan’s third-grade class and Scott Hastings’ fifth-grade class. Each week Moreland Hills School chooses four classrooms as Pride Powers recipients. These classrooms will receive a traveling trophy for exhibiting their Pride Powers: be safe, be respectful, be responsible and be engaged.

Thespians present ‘Jurors’

Orange High School Thespians proudly present “Twelve Angry Jurors,” Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. in the OHS auditorium, 32000 Chagrin Blvd. The play, by Sherman L. Sergel, was adapted from the television movie by Reginald Rose. The show is directed by Will Sanborn and Wendy Scott-Koeth is the Thespians advisor. Tickets are $10 per adult and $5 per student at the door. Orange staff members have free admission with staff ID.
