In light of festival season, the Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste District is loaning recycling containers to organizations and residents for celebrations big and small.

The recycling containers on loan at no cost are available throughout the summer at the district office at 5138 Enterprise Blvd., Warren, Ohio.

“It is best that organizers call in their event date and reserve their containers,” said Holly Carine, community outreach coordinator for the district. “They are collapsible and lightweight and include large 45 gallon clear bags.”

She advised that the containers work best placed near trash containers to encourage festival-goers to recycle their empty aluminum cans and plastic bottles while discarding other waste.
