New state bill seeks to stem septic-system costs

If former state regulations for septic systems are reinstated, homeowners could be paying $30,000 or more when it comes time to repair or replace their systems, according to state Sen. Timothy J. Grendell, R-Chester.

Many of Geauga County's households and businesses use septic systems.
