Chagrin Valley Little Theatre, 40 River Street, takes theater-goers back to the Renaissance with the hit Broadway musical comedy,“Something Rotten!” starting 7:30 p.m. March 17.
This plot surrounds 16th century English brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom who are desperate to write a hit play. But stuck in the shadow of Renaissance Rock Star William Shakespeare, they stumble upon a soothsayer and heed his advice to try singing and dancing. Amidst the excitement of opening night, the two realize that reaching the top means being true to thine own self –and all that jazz.
