Boy Scouts from Russell Township Troop 193, which celebrates its 70th anniversary this year, raise the American flag during the annual veterans’ remembrance ceremony Sunday at Briar Hill Cemetery (formerly known as Old Riverview Cemetery) in Russell Township. The ceremony was sponsored by the Russell Township Historical Society and the Russell Township trustees. Other area Memorial Day observances are listed on page A10.
