The Cuyahoga County Public Library system is celebrating its 100th anniversary in Northeast Ohio and to mark the milestone, more than 2,100 Solon readers are taking part in the library’s 2022 Summer Reading program.

In addition to enjoying some good summer books, the 1,710 youth readers who are participating at the Solon branch, are “helping combat the summer slide,” according to Darlene Davis, branch manager at the Solon branch.
