The holiday season officially kicked off with tree lightings throughout the Chagrin Valley. In Chagrin Falls, Santa Claus made his way through the village Friday to flip the switch downtown during the annual Lighting of the Greens. Bulbs and boughs strung across the Main Street bridge now light the way for passers-by. At Pinecrest in Orange Village, while the official Nights of Lights event was canceled this year, a prominent pine stands tall alongside a festive display of lumens.
