A 30-inch gas line exploded at 1 a.m. on Nov. 15, causing 60-foot flames and property damage at Brainard Circle in Pepper Pike. Mayor Richard Bain said that there are holes underneath the road near the explosion, compromising the integrity of the roadway. Dominion Energy crews are expected to work 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the coming weeks to repair the gas line and other damage.
