Kiwanis Club Annual STEM Fair

Students at West Geauga Local Schools participated in the Kiwanis Club STEM Fair on Jan. 18 at West Geauga Middle School. In addition to individual projects displayed, students participated in a “Junk Box War,” “How Do I Fare” and a mathematics competition.

West G High School earns ‘Overall A’

The Ohio Department of Education awarded West Geauga High School the “Overall A” award for the 2018-19 school year. This accolade is awarded to schools in Ohio that have an overall summative grade of ‘A’ on the 2019 Ohio School Report Card. Only 209 school buildings out of more than 3,000 schools in the state received this award this year. West Geauga High School also received the “Momentum” award for greater than expected academic gains as demonstrated on the State Report Card.
