Projects support ‘All-Access Learning’

This year, Mayfield City Schools launched their plan to provide “All-Access Learning” to personalize the educational experience for each student. Over the past several months, Mayfield schools shared testimonials from their students and teachers explaining firsthand what All-Access Learning means to them. The testimonials and videos can be found at

Under the district’s All-Access Learning plan, several projects are underway to support this due to the passage of the schools’ 2016 permanent improvement levy. Projects include: renovations and improvements to Millridge Elementary School that allow a more personalized approach to learning to help maximize student growth, which will convert classrooms into collaborative spaces; enhancing the entrance at Mayfield High School to alleviate traffic flow concerns on Wilson Mills Road; and the potential exchange of property ownership to acquire space on the southeast corner of Miner and Wilson Mills roads, which will convert the historic Old School House to office space for the private company with which the district is exchanging property.
