District welcomes back students

Orange City School District students in grades one through 12 arrived for their first day on Aug. 23 with a phase-in program for kindergartners throughout the week. Convocation festivities kicked off the new school year on Aug. 18 with the theme of “Better Together.”

Tickets available online

All Orange High School home athletic events that are held at Lewis Black Stadium, the OHS varsity gymnasium or at the ice pond in Chagrin Falls can only be purchased online through ohslions.com. This is for basketball, field hockey, football, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer, swimming, track and field, volleyball and wrestling.

Tickets can be purchased via computer by visiting ohslions.com, clicking the “More” tab at the top of the homepage and selecting “Purchase Event Tickets Here!” If using your cell phone, tickets can be purchased by visiting ohslions.com and selecting the menu tab in the top right and scrolling down to tickets. Orange Boosters drive upcoming

The 2021-2022 Orange Boosters membership drive offers supporters different sponsorship levels, including one year, two year and lifetime options. Visit orangeboosters.org for more details and to sign up.

Orange Boosters has raised $800,000 over the last 10 years. A total of 100 percent of funds raised have been given back to the Orange schools. Some of these funds have been used for spirit wrap around the athletic fields, college scholarships, swimming timing pads, athletic uniforms, flat screen monitors at the elementary school, the marching band speaker system, Relay for Life and the Orange High School newspaper.
