Orange homecoming

The Orange High School 2021 Senior Homecoming Court includes Ava Rezaee, Marc Kousa, Katherine Hamilton, Anthony Fatica, Delilah Regalbuto, John Boyle, Courtney Taylor, Caden Vincent, Stella Colich and Elijah Jackson. The 2021 homecoming royalty will be crowned at halftime of the Varsity football game on Oct. 8 when the Orange Lions take on the Perry Pirates. Court members will be introduced during the pre-game along with parents of the senior court.

On hand will be ninth grade attendants Elana Novak and Landon Watson; sophomore attendants Callyn Carran and Armon Grays as well as junior attendants Rebecca Abramovich and Brian Gent. Pregame is expected to start about 6:30 p.m. with kick-off at 7 p.m. The dance will be held at Orange High School on Oct. 9 from 7-10 p.m. only for students currently enrolled. Tickets are by pre-purchase only. This year’s theme is “Under the Stars.”

Merit scholars

Orange High School seniors Nora Igelnik and Pannonica Silvestri were recently named 2022 National Merit Scholarship Commended Students. They will each receive a Letter of Commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, which conducts the program each year.

Yearbook blitz

Orange High School’s yearbook staff is participating in its first ever “Sales Blitz” competition. When students or parents purchase their 2022 yearbook between now and Oct. 9, the staff will compete with other schools of similar size for bragging rights and prizes such as new cameras.

Orange High School families can order the yearbook by visiting yearbookordercenter.com and entering the school code 3647.

Families will receive $5 off by using the code BLITZ at checkout during this time.
