All treats, no tricks
The Orange Senior Center hosted their fourth Drive-Thru Luncheon, sponsored by Rose Senior Living in Beachwood, last week where volunteers of the senior centers distributed Halloween-themed spaghetti and meatball lunches with mummy-styles juice and “dirt desserts” (made of gummy worms and chocolate pudding cups).
A Thanksgiving luncheon is scheduled for Nov. 18, and a holiday drive-thru luncheon is set for Dec. 16. Lunch and drive-thru entertainment are only $10. Registrations for the upcoming luncheons may be made by calling 216-831-8600, ext. 5700.
Nurses advise mask wearing
The Orange schools nurses, Mary Massey, Jill Cannata and Christine Rogen, would like to remind everyone to wear a proper mask to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Families play an important role in maintaining safety on the campus and in our communities, they said.

OHS wins College Success Award
Last week, Orange High School received the 2020 College Success Award from GreatSchools.org. The College Success Award recognizes public high schools that excel at preparing students for college and beyond. College Success Award-winning high schools are identified based on school-level college preparation and postsecondary data, which are collected and shared by their states. This data tells whether students are prepared for college, enroll in college, are ready for college-level coursework when they get there, and/or persist on to their second year. GreatSchools.org is a nonprofit website that reaches more than 46 million users every year. They receive support from charitable foundations that support educational causes that seek to shine a spotlight on education excellence across the country.
