Visit to art museum
The Orange Senior Center will take a trip to the Cleveland Museum of Art, June 4 at 10 a.m. Once finished at the museum, the group will have lunch at Mama Santa’s in Cleveland’s Little Italy at your own expense. Bus will pick up and drop off at OSC, 32205 Chagrin Blvd. in Pepper Pike. Cost is $40 for resident/OSC members and $50 for nonresidents. Registration/refund deadline is May 28. Summer craft classes
The Orange Senior Center, 32205 Chagrin Blvd. in Pepper Pike, offers several summer craft classes. Summer Polymer Clay class is held on Tuesday mornings beginning June 4. One Stroke Summer Landscapes is offered Tuesday evenings or Thursday afternoons beginning June 4 and June 6. Make your Own Greeting Cards begins June 4 and is offered Tuesday afternoons. Free speech forum

The Gates Mills and Chagrin Falls branches of the Cuyahoga County Public Library will be closed May 26-27 for the Memorial Day holiday. The branches will reopen on May 28 with regular hours.

Former Times editor to speak
Dave Lange, former Times editor and author of the coming-of-age memoir “Virginity Lost in Vietnam,” will speak about his book and how journalism played a role in it at 7 p.m. May 30 at the Gates Mills Branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library, 1491 Chagrin River Road. Mr. Lange served with the U.S. Navy’s riverine forces in Vietnam in 1969 and 1970 and then was deployed on board aircraft carriers with Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 11.
