Scout days upcoming

Junior Girl Scouts can experience a morning of high tech hide and seek while working toward the geocacher badge from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Sept. 19. Bring GPS units or enabled devices, or borrow one from the park. Wolf Cub Scouts discover how to use a map and compass to locate objects and take a hike as part of the wolf badge elective adventure from 1-3 p.m. Sept. 19.

Both events will take place in the Meyer Center at Big Creek Park, 9160 Robinson Road in Chardon. To maximize attendance and minimize no-shows, there is a limit of four registrations per person for participating scouts only. Registration is required at 440-279-0880.
