Lord of Life offers Thanksgiving

Every Thanksgiving, Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 17989 Chillicothe Road in Bainbridge, sponsors families through Geauga County Job and Family Services to provide Thanksgiving meals.

“Our mission is taken from Matthew 28, ‘GO into the world, SOW the Good News and GROW in faith,’” Senior Pastor Robert Henderson said. “At Lord of Life we take that mission seriously. We delight in the opportunity and privilege of providing a meal and serving others.”

The church will also be sponsoring the same individuals for Christmas, providing Christmas dinner and presents for the entire family.

The Family LIFE group will be making placemats to be delivered with the meals. Family LIFE stands for “Families Living In Faith Everyday” and is a ministry that provides families opportunities to support one another in raising their young children faithfully. For more information regarding Family LIFE or any other ministry at Lord of Life, contact the church office at 440-543-5505 or visit their website, www.loloh.org.
