Observation/Conservation exhibit

The Valley Art Center, 155 Bell St. in Chagrin Falls, presents Observation/Conservation through May 9 in the Margaret “Peg” Bowen Gallery. 2-D and 3-D artists were encouraged to explore the beauty of nature, to speak about the threats facing our world, but especially to create work that demonstrated the artist’s ability to study the natural world to gain information that can then be used to develop ideas on how to protect and conserve our natural ecosystems and life-giving resources.

For this exhibit, VAC has partnered with Western Reserve Land Conservancy who will have an educational display set up in the Hallway Gallery for the duration of the exhibit. The display highlights different focus areas of WRLC’s conservation work including natural areas, farmland and urban conservation projects. For more information, contact VAC at 440-247-7507 or visit valleyartcenter.org.
