Earn scouting credit

Geauga Park District will host a Scouts Days program to help Brownie Scouts earn their “Eco Friend Badge” on Aug. 29 from 1:30-4 p.m. at Orchard Hills Park, 11340 Caves Road in Chester. Learn more about outdoor spaces and how to reach others to treat them with kindness while completing all requirements for this badge. Registration is required at www.geaugaparkdistrict.org or 440-279-0880. There is a limit of four registrations per person. Due to group size limits and social distancing recommendations, a parent or scout leader must register and attend with each scout. Timbertots explore seeds

Ages 3 to 5 with an adult can explore seeds and how plants and animals need them from 10-11 a.m. Sept. 12 in Pondside Shelter, Orchard Hills Park, 11340 Caves Road in Chester. The event is held outdoors, weather permitting, so dress accordingly. Older or younger siblings will not be considered participants. Registration is required at 440-286-9516.
