‘Sunday Fundays’ at art center
Make a ceramic lantern at the Orange Art Center, 31500 Chagrin Blvd. in Pepper Pike, Studio 3, on April 18 from 10 a.m. to noon, during a Sunday Funday workshop. Participants can learn the fundamentals of clay-making and carving by making a space in their homes for their favorite candles. Cost is $25.
Also, on April 18, from 10 a.m. to noon, OAC will make Mother’s Day jewelry in Studio 2. Participants will dabble in metal-smithing to make a handmade pair of earrings to gift for this Mother’s Day. Cost is $25.

Bach concludes piano series
French-American jazz pianist Dan Tepfer will perform his interpretation of Johann Sebastian Bach’s renowned Goldberg Variations during the Tri-C Performing Arts Classical Piano Series presented by Cuyahoga Community College. The free virtual concert begins at 2 p.m. on April 18. Visit tri-c.edu/performingarts on April 18 to view the recital, which was prerecorded in the auditorium at Tri-C Metropolitan Campus.
Center presents drive-in show
Fairmount Center for the Arts presents “The Show Goes On” at the Mayfield Drive-In, 12100 State Route 322 in Chardon, on May 21 at 8 p.m.
The dance and arts program includes pop-up dance performances from the Fairmount Dance Company and art activities, a showing of a film created that showcases Fairmount’s dance and arts community and a showing of the 2016 animated film “Leap.” Tickets for the event are on sale at fairmountcenter.org/performances, and all are welcome to be part of this arts celebration. The price is $30 per carload, or individuals may purchase a “Parent Patron” ticket for $75, which includes the opportunity to share one image that will be shown on the screen with a brief message. Concessions and restrooms will be available at the Mayfield Drive-In.
