The Orange-based M.U.S.i.C. organizations (Stars in the Classics) is bringing back its popular summer garden concert series with six outdoor chamber music concerts scheduled for this summer.

Each concert offers a revue of top artists performing a varied repertoire for eager audiences from across Northeast Ohio.

The first concerts take place at 6 p.m. June 23 followed by 5 p.m. on June 26 in a secluded backyard garden.

“Our outdoor concerts were so popular during the pandemic, that we decided to bring them back this summer,” said Jodi Kanter, artistic director. “The musicians love playing under the trees, and audiences enjoy spirited performances of some of the world’s greatest music.”

The June concerts will feature American and immigrant composers with instrumental and vocal works by Amy Beach, Andre Previn, George Walker, George Gershwin, and others.

Performers include the brilliant Ukrainian pianist Nicolai Pushkarev, the exciting young Canadian violinist Maude Cloutier, and other award-winning virtuosos from the U.S. and abroad.

Boxed food will be served and guests are invited to bring their own wine.

Last year’s garden programs won raves from audiences.

“Our programs are popular with everyone from sophisticated chamber music aficionados to everyday music lovers,” said Ms. Kanter.

Tickets for M.U.S.i.C.’s June garden concerts can be ordered by calling Ms. Kanter at (216) 702-7047.

Tickets are also available online at starsintheclassics.org.
