Shakespeare in Solon

Come support local professional actors in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night on Labor Day Weekend in the Solon Community Park, 6679 SOM Center Road. The new adaptation by Playwright Alison Carey runs Sept. 4 and 6 at 7 p.m. The production will be shown on a large LED screen and utilize Zoom, green screens, costumes and props. Circles will be drawn to space out groups of guests on the ground. Food trucks will be available, but guests are welcome to bring their own refreshments.

Director of Play On Shakespeare Lue Douthit, formerly of Oregon Shakespeare, is the consultant and Delaney Hagy and Tyler Collins are the co-directors of the adaptation.

The event is free and open to the public, but free-will donations to support the Ohio Innocence Project (a partner of music and art with Chagrin Arts) will be accepted.
