Marilyn “Lewis” Buksar (nee Schoedel), died peacefully at home on June 7, 2019, surrounded by family. She was born to the late Fred and Loretta Schoedel. She dearly loved her late Grandma Rose Burmester. She was married to the late John Lewis for 6 years and then the late George Buksar for nearly 40 years. She is survived by her two daughters, Cindy Hall and Lori Buksar.

Marilyn graduated from Toledo University. She was a member of Zonta International. She was well-known in the arts community and so accomplished in antiques she had her own business “Lewis Galleries” for several years. She was a master gardener and won awards for her beautifully crafted landscapes. She was a tremendous financial planner and loved investing. Marilyn was a fabulous gourmet cook and loved to entertain. She later worked as a team with husband George in the industrial steel mill business not ever really retiring. She was a great listener and a true friend to many. Marilyn will be missed and loved by all those who knew her.

Funeral Services were held Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at Steinbauer Funeral Home, 33375 Bainbridge Rd., Solon.

Marian Rose Horvath (nee Marous), age 90, of Bainbridge Twp. Daughter of the late Frank and Mae (nee Waldman) Marous; beloved wife of the late Joseph; loving mother of Mary (Doug Jones), JoAnn (deceased), Joseph (Stephanie Hiedemann) and Frances (Mitchell Uveges); dearest grandmother of Maxwell, Thea and the late JoAnn; dear sister of the late Donald(late Clemy) Marous.

Marian was a 1946 graduate of Shaker Hts. High School and attended Notre Dame College in South Euclid, OH. She was a chartered parishioner of St. Joan of Arc Church in Chagrin Falls since 1948. Marian was a member of the Bainbridge Historical Society, Bainbridge Women’s Club, Bainbridge Garden Club and was a 4-H Club advisor for her daughters. She loved cats, dogs, reading and flower gardening.

JOHN FUNERAL HOME, 16381 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (RT 306), CHAGRIN FALLS, 44023 (2.5 MILES NORTH OF RT. 422), WEDNESDAY FROM 5 – 8 P.M. where prayers will be held Thursday, June 13 at 9:15 A.M. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joan of Arc Church, 496 East Washington St., Chagrin Falls at 10 A.M. Burial Restland Cemetery, Bainbridge Twp. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. Joan of Arc School Library, 496 East Washington St., Chagrin Falls, Ohio 44022.


Harry Eugene Stone, Jr., age 86, of Chagrin Falls. Beloved husband of Marylyn (nee Kirby) for 57 years; loving father of Catherine (Mark) Boullie and Jeffrey Stone; dearest grandfather of Mark Jr., David and Mariana Boullie; dear brother of Barbara Schleif.

Veteran, U.S. Navy. Founder and owner, with his wife, of Paul Davis Restoration. Harry was an avid fly fisherman and enjoyed traveling.
